Welcome to our class! There are 21 children in our class.
Our P.E day is Tuesday afternoon. Can you please ensure that children have full P.E kit. We prefer to leave P.E kit in school , sending it home each half term to get washed.
We read with each child once a week, and children are given the opportunity to choose their own reading book. If your child is a confident reader and they enjoy reading more than one book in a week then they are welcome to return their reading book and choose another one. Please sign their reading record so we know when your child has read at home. We hope that children read at home at least five times a week.
This Term
Our topic this term is Celebrations. We will be looking at different celebrations around the world.
We have started Read Write Inc and we are learning a new sound every day.
In Maths, we are working hard on accurate counting and writing numerals correctly. We enjoy using Ipads to enhance our learning.
We love to play and learn in our outdoor area, especially in the sandpit, water area and role play house. We also like investigating the natural world and finding bugs. As a reward for 100% attendance, we used our fire pit to toast marshmallows.
We like to be creative and have been using our hand prints to make fish pictures for our ‘Mr Seahorse’ display.
