Welcome to Year 2
There are 21 lovely children in our class! Miss Beadle and Mr Brown are the teachers working in Year 2. Mr Osmond teaches the class on a Tuesday afternoon. Mrs Neil also works in class on a morning helping us with English and Maths.
P.E Days
Our P.E days are Wednesday and Friday. Children can come into school wearing their P.E kit on those days.
Reading
In Year 2, we read with the children everyday. Please can you ensure that children have their reading book in school everyday. It would be a great help and beneficial to the children if you could read with them at home too.
Spellings – Spellings will be handed out each Monday ready for a spelling test on the Friday. Please help your child learn these words at home.
Year 2 – What We Are Learning About
During our first week in Year 2 we enjoyed reading a book called Man on the Moon by Simon Bartram. The children produced some lovely work which is on display in our classroom. We learned all about the moon and the children created some lovely art work.
